A postmodern continuation of modernist inquiry, juxtaposing interior and exterior spaces to question perception.
Inside and outside were explored in the meditative personal way in “Ivy and Outdoors” and with a sense of isolation in “Out Back At Night”. (this page)
The title itself suggests inversion — the permeability of psychological and physical boundaries, and the shifting relationship between viewer and subject.
